Wernley Bowling Club officially opened its 2026 bowling season on Wednesday 8th April, as Wernley B Team Captain Rob Williams and Wernley A Team Captain Jack Price met on the green for a handshake ahead of the club’s first league match of the year.
The occasion marked the beginning of another exciting season for the club, with Wernley set to compete across a number of leagues in 2026, including the Oldbury & District, Dudley & District, and Warwickshire County Parks competitions. With a full fixture list ahead, the club is looking forward to another year of competitive bowling, community spirit, and enjoyable evenings on the green.
